My paintings

My paintings are inspired by Icelandic nature, Fishing villages, Icelandic horses and sheep. I paint what fascinates me in my environment.

I combine my love of arranging shapes, colors, lines and designs on the canvas / MDF.

The materials I enjoy working with in my paintings are oil, acrylic and oil pastel on canvas / MDF.

It fascinates me to paint on a rough surface that I get with a sand mixture of Gesso, it gives the painting a certain depth.
